Crenel Francis Jr. from Gainesville, FL is a master’s student in the Department of Agricultural Sciences Education and Communication at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Crenel received his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University (FAMU) in Tallahassee, Florida. One of the most achievable accomplishments while at FAMU was being named the 20th Mister FAMU, who serves as a lead recruiter and university student ambassador. Crenel is also an active member of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS) which is an organization that focuses on fostering agricultural practices and professional development. As a career goal, Crenel would like to focus on the intersection of public policy, public relations, and agricultural leadership for underrepresented populations in agriculture. In his spare time, Crenel likes to travel, read, workout, and spend time with family.
