Jose Ramirez

Jose Ramirez was born in his hometown of Miami, Florida to Cuban and Venezuelan exiles. He is pursuing majors in English and Psychology, as well as a Film Studies Certificate. Jose hopes to further his cinematic studies at the graduate level and his main interests include the history of cinema, the new Hollywood era of film, and how psychology is represented on screen. Jose’s favorite film decade is the 70’s and his favorite films are Taxi Driver, Dog Day Afternoon, and Repo Man. He spends most of his free time at the movies, or at home watching something by Scorsese or Kubrick.
