Lori Spears

As an expert in her field, Lori D. Spears always pushes boundaries, elevates expectations, and promotes change. Spears has held several C-suite positions, including Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Executive Pastor, Assistant Vice President, and Associate Director. She was employed by Carnegie Mellon University as an Associate Director of the CMU Portugal Program. In this role, she was responsible for managing the overall expectations of the program, implementing new strategies and processes to ensure its success, and working in conjunction with the government of Portugal to educate students in various disciplines as they completed international dual degrees. Additionally, Spears has over a decade of high-level fundraising experience, taking on various important roles.
At the forefront of developing ministry educational tools, she ensures that churches, businesses, and non-profit organizations can accomplish their goals and ideas in a structured way through curriculum development. In addition to developing a Christian curriculum, Lori is deeply engaged in providing consultation services for non-profits and churches on topics such as cell group development, budgeting, organizational development, strategic planning, campus renovation, and leadership training.
Spears received a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio, focusing on Preaching and Leadership. She received a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Media/Journalism from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina.
