Rocio Rivadeneyra

Rocio Rivadeneyra currently serves as the Associate Dean in the College of Arts and Sciences at Illinois State University. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants who instilled the importance of education to better oneself, the family, and community. With a career spanning two decades in higher education, Rocio has been a faculty member at Illinois State University in the Department of Psychology with affiliations in Latin American and Latino/a Studies and previously served as Director of the Honors Program where she implemented holistic admissions and more inclusive practices in the curriculum and general program.
