Tuesday Barnes is a first-year PhD student at Morgan State University in the Applied Sociology and Social Justice Program. Tuesday is a native of Baltimore City and deeply loves her city. Since joining Morgan State University, Tuesday has presented "#BlackGirlJoy: A Critical Discourse on Black Imaginings in a Time of Anti-Blackness" at the 2024 Association of Black Sociologists Conference, presented "Virtual to Material Reality: How Online Discourse Impacts Real World Environmental Action" at the 2024 HBCU/MSI Chesapeake Summit, presented, "#BlackGirlJoy" at 2024 MorganTechFest, and presented, "CYBER SPECTACLES: REIMAGINING BALDWIN IN A POST-RACIAL CYBER SPHERE" at the 2024 Quarles Conference.
